MuniPaaS is seeking a Part-Time Trainer with expertise in Salesforce and Public Sector operations to design and deliver training sessions for municipal and public sector clients. This role is critical in ensuring end-users, administrators, and stakeholders effectively adopt Salesforce-based solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong training and facilitation skills, coupled with hands-on Salesforce experience and a deep understanding of municipal operations and workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Training Development & Delivery

  • Design and deliver comprehensive training programs tailored to municipal users, including administrators, caseworkers, inspectors, and executives.
  • Conduct virtual and in-person training sessions on Salesforce functionality, MuniPaaS solutions, and best practices.
  • Develop instructional materials such as user guides, video tutorials, training decks, and knowledge base articles.
  • Ensure training programs align with public sector compliance requirements (e.g., MFIPPA, accessibility standards).

User Adoption & Support

  • Assess training needs and create role-based learning paths to maximize adoption and efficiency.
  • Conduct hands-on workshops, Q&A sessions, and interactive demonstrations.
  • Provide post-training support, including answering user queries and troubleshooting common adoption challenges.
  • Gather feedback from participants to continuously refine training content and delivery.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and implementation teams to understand client needs and tailor training accordingly.
  • Understand and cater for key Organizational Change Management challenges.
  • Engage municipal leaders, IT teams, and end-users to ensure seamless onboarding and skill development.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by promoting best practices for system usage, data governance, and compliance.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 3+ years of experience in Salesforce training, consulting, or system administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce Service Cloud, Public Sector Solutions, and declarative tools (List Views, Reports, Dashboards).
  • Experience working in or consulting for municipalities, government agencies, or public sector organizations.
  • Excellent facilitation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences, from technical users to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, instructional design, and content development skills.
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles and different training methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple training projects simultaneously.

Preferred:

  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Sales Cloud/Service Cloud Consultant, or Education Cloud Consultant).
  • Experience in navigating government organizations
  • Experience in seeing ProSCI ADKAR methodology in practice on technology projects
  • Experience with OmniStudio, Experience Cloud, or integrations with municipal systems (e.g., GIS, ERP, document management).
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as MFIPPA, accessibility standards, and data security best practices.
  • Prior experience conducting online training sessions using platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Webex.
