Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our dynamic team at a Salesforce Silver Consulting Partner specializing in providing customized solutions to Municipal and Local Government organizations. As a key member of our organization, the Senior Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects simultaneously, driving successful project delivery, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Salesforce projects for Municipal and Local Government clients, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, and budget constraints.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, defining project scope, goals, deliverables, resources, and timelines, in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Effectively allocate resources, including project team members and third-party vendors, to ensure optimal project performance and delivery excellence.
- Conduct regular project status meetings, providing updates on project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies to stakeholders and senior management.
- Manage project budgets and financials, tracking expenses, forecasting costs, and ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Assist in creating and modifying artifacts such as, but not limited to Test, Deployment and TrainingPlans, Change Orders and Project Charters
- Mentor and coach junior staff, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree Technology,Management, or related field. CSM, PMP, SAFe certification preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years experience in project management, with a focus on delivering Salesforce solutions to clients with budgets exceeding $1 million
- Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies, with experience in adapting methodologies to suit project requirements.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and build consensus among stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and startup-cultured environment.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Monday.com, Jira.
- Familiarity with Salesforce solutions such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Community Cloud, as well asSalesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator or Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder), is desirable.
