MuniPaaS is seeking a Project Manager / Senior Consultant with Salesforce experience to lead and support the delivery of Salesforce-based solutions for our municipal and public sector clients. This role is critical in ensuring the successful execution of projects from initial discovery through implementation and adoption using a predefined framework. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of project management expertise, business analysis skills, and hands-on Salesforce experience to drive strategic initiatives and digital transformation for municipalities.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Delivery
- Lead end-to-end delivery of Salesforce projects, ensuring scope, timelines, and budgets are met.
- Develop and manage project plans, resource allocations, risk mitigation strategies, and stakeholder communications.
- Follow a checklist to onboard clients on to the Application and have the ability to work on multiple onboarding projects at different stages at the same time.
- Ensure alignment with public sector best practices, governance, and compliance requirements.
- Track project performance using Agile or hybrid methodologies to ensure milestones are achieved efficiently.
- Drive adoption by collaborating with change management teams and ensuring successful end-user training.
Business Analysis & Solution Design
- Work closely with municipal stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into the out-of-the-box solution
- Facilitate workshops, conduct stakeholder interviews, and document functional and technical requirements.
- Design process flows, user stories, and system workflows to streamline municipal operations such as 311 Service Management, Licensing, Permitting, and Inspections.
- Define and oversee data migration strategies, reporting needs, and automation solutions (e.g., Flows).
- Ensure solutions align with MuniPaaS best practices and public sector compliance standards (e.g., MFIPPA, accessibility standards).
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the bridge between business users, development teams, and executive stakeholders to ensure alignment.
- Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to municipal leaders and MuniPaaS teams.
- Act as a trusted advisor by guiding clients on Salesforce best practices, system scalability, and integrations.
- Work closely with technical architects, developers, and QA teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in project management and business analysis within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce Service Cloud, Public Sector Solutions, and declarative tools (Flows, Reports, Dashboards, Validation Rules).
- Experience working in or consulting for the public sector (municipalities, government agencies, or related industries).
- Proven track record of leading end-to-end Salesforce projects, from discovery to go-live.
- Hands-on experience in gathering requirements, process mapping, and creating user stories.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficiency with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies.
- Experience with Salesforce security models, data governance, and integrations (APIs, third-party applications).
Preferred:
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Sales Cloud/Service Cloud Consultant, PMP, or CBAP).
- Familiarity with OmniStudio, Experience Cloud, or integrating Salesforce with municipal systems (e.g., GIS, ERP, document management).
- Understanding of compliance frameworks such as MFIPPA, accessibility standards, and public sector procurement.
